Sourcing Starts With the Right Product
Overview
Sourcing is everything that happens before you import. You come to Zodesk with a product — a specification, a sample, a photo, sometimes just an idea — and we turn it into real, comparable factory options. Working on the ground in China, we find who actually makes your product, what it really costs, and what each factory can and cannot do, so the order you eventually place is the right one.
How It Works
Send us the product: specifications, target quantity, and any reference sample or image. We search our established supplier network and the wider market, compare factories side by side, manage sampling until the product matches your specification, and present a structured quotation for each viable option. You choose with real numbers in front of you — sourcing ends with a decision, procurement takes it from there.
What We Manage
- Product Search — Matching your product and specification to factories that actually produce it, not general traders
- Market Comparison — Side-by-side comparison of factories on price, minimum order quantity, lead time, and capability
- Custom Development — Custom products and packaging developed to your specifications — there is no fixed catalog to pick from
- Sampling — Digital and pre-production samples produced and checked against your specification before any bulk commitment
- Price Discovery — Real factory pricing gathered and verified at the source, so quotations rest on facts, not listings
- Shortlist & Quotation — A decision-ready shortlist with clear pricing per option, ready to convert into an order
Built on Local Advantage
Operating within China allows us to communicate directly with factories, verify information at the source, and maintain control over the procurement process. This reduces misunderstandings, improves accuracy, and ensures that expectations are clearly aligned from the start.
From Shortlist to Order
Once you select an option, sourcing hands over to procurement: order placement, production follow-up, inspection, and everything through to readiness. Because the product and the factory were verified during sourcing, execution starts from certainty instead of assumptions.
